A great win for the Hogs, which I missed since we had family over and I had pretend to care about what my cousins are doing. Ah well, I expected the series to go to Sunday between these two squads and I'll get to watch that at least.
Is there any chance of Auburn trotting out Mize for Sunday? If so I'd give them the edge in the game, we've had devil of a time finding another pitcher to add to the weekend rotation. Should be a fun game between two talented teams to close out the series, whoever wins is sitting in a good spot to contend for the regular season title.

Okay? Stupid point. Keegan Thompson missed the last 2 seasons before this one. Missing somebody for a year and adjusting is different from missing the best player in the conference for a weekend.

That is a tough break but better to sit him for a week and let him heal up then run the risk of getting him injured for the rest of the year. Auburn will need him for the post season.
It could be a very... interesting... game tomorrow. Arkansas is pitching by committee more often then not on Sunday and it looks like Auburn will be in the same boat.

Love it when a pitcher protects his ERA by dodging a lineup then is used by his fanbase as a reason for bad play. Awesome

Yeah our bullpen hasn't been great though. Mize and Thompson have been our strengths all year, but our hitting has picked up a lot the last couple of weeks
