So Carter Blackburn sucked a dick on those calls too.

frick that guy. This would be three crazy events in sports in the past 4 months, like the three wildest things to happen in all of sports and he's sucked terribly calling all of them.

Failing upward isn't just for coaches and politicians anymore.

Actually it's 1 out of 10,000 if it was .01%

I've watched it 5 times now and it still makes no sense. How in the hell did all that happen in ~30 seconds?

It happened because UNI had no timeouts

Having no timeouts and the kid who normally inbounds for them getting hurt was the perfect storm. After we cut it to 6 we could smell blood in the water. And I will be the first to admit that the call on Caruso's and 1 was really soft

The call on Caruso was super soft for sure, but there is no way in hell you can blame that shite on the refs. That is 10000000% UNI's fault. They have to live with that for the rest of their lives. I legit kinda feel bad about it

Oh I didn't mean it that way, it was a small part of it is all. Even guarding him as close as he was was dumb. Having no timeouts to not bail them out of some of those situations was HUGE and you could tell they didn't have anyone who felt comfortable inbounding the ball

And also because the entire nation wants to watch you lick Billy Kennedy's a-hole.

Easily the biggest choke job ever in the tourney.

Once UNI made the first few mistakes you could tell they were majorly rattled, so they just kept making them.

The foul on the drive, throwing the ball in the corner twice, classic mistakes.

Aggies deserve credit, but it was a meltdown mostly by UNI

Expect this from a LSU fan not you.

Ags still had to make the baskets, still had to effiectvely trap, still had to execute. It was mostly an amazing show of heart, will, and grit, with some help from UNI getting flustered. To say UNI melting had more to do with A&M executing is absurd.

How did UNI use all their timeouts in the second half? You'd figure the team who had a sizable lead late would have the full complement of timeouts.

Sorry.

Aggies did a great job. Executed their part perfectly.

However, if Aggies lost a game like that, you might think differently.

All in all, a great win. UNI made mistakes which Aggies took advantage of and converted excellently.

I still say the UNI mistakes of fouling on the layup- I mean you give that up without a contest at that point- and in bounding the ball to the corner- one throwaway, one trap 5 count- I was taught throw to the middle or big to big long in that situation.

I'll give credit where credit is due, but coaches will show that tape to players and explain why not to foul and where not to inbound the ball.
