We would win. We've gone in two different directions since our first 2 meetings. You guys were a tourney "lock" - we looked like we wouldn't even be on the bubble for the NIT.

It's hilarious that there is a UT fan talking shite about anything. WTF has UT won in the last decade in any sport? This basketball team should be much better than 20-11. They have under achieved just like every other fricking team UT has put on a field or a court in a long LONG time. I actually like Martin and the players on this team and they are playing some pretty good basketball right now. Should knock Bama's non shooting asses off the bubble tomorrow Good luck to them and I hope they make the NCAA As for you phat Phil,

What? We won the SEC basketball championship in 2008. We have actually been to the SECCG in football as well since our last meeting there.
Also - we are likely going to the NCAAT even though we lost our best player for the season - how is that underachieving?

If we somehow miraculously get past mizzou then I think we can take Kentucky.... The only reason we lost to them is witcher(sp.) going off and Noel having 12 blocks

Bowers is a touch match up. Holloway guard him? We didn't have anyone who could match up with him... and they have long, athletic guards that slowed down McRae.. luckily Phil Pressey went full retard.

Ok, you must be the only UT fan that is happy with the state of UT athletics. I had forgotten that Pearl's lying cheating arse won a regular season title in '08. And yes you've been to the title game in football in the weaker East only to be beaten by whoever is from the West. So you really truly haven't won an SEC title since beating us in 97 in the SEC championship
I didn't realize Stokes was out for the season. Could've sworn he got an offensive rebound and put back to end any hope of MSU coming back today. Also McRae is truly the best player on the team and he is there too. They should have been at least one of the top 4 teams in the conference and that they are even on the bubble is enough evidence that they have under achieved. That being said, they are finally playing good ball and should beat 'Bama tomorrow and get one step closer to earning a spot. I think that y'all are the next best team behind UF and Mizzou and that these 3 are the only 3 that could do anything in the tourney I hope that u make it in and hope u do good once in the field. How many have you won in the last 10 years is what I posted. Who is this best player that got hurt. I am seriously wondering who that is. I don't recall. I remember stokes and McRae but don't remember somebody better than those two. Still, veteran point guard, stokes, McRae, McBee, and others without this best player. That team should've been in contention with the state of SEC basketball this season. No way you should be on the bubble

Lol - how many damn UT games did you watch last year? Maymon led our team in points, rebounding, and assists I believe. He was also our leader and by far our best player. He made Stokes a lot better than he really was last season.. that's why Stokes struggled so mightily at the beginning and learning to play without Maymon.
Also - McRae wasn't even a starter at the beginning of the season.
Once again - Maymon - our best and most valuable (not most talented because McRae and Stokes and maybe even Golden are more talented) has been out the whole season yet we still likely make the NCAAT. Not underachieving what-so-ever.

We've been to 2 in the past 10 years.
And as I already said, Maymon. Leader and most production on the boards and scoring. Highest FG % and great team player. Excellent passer in the post too.
