Wow, y'all some pessimistic bastards. I don't think we're going to beat Kentucky either, but acting like there's ZERO chance is a little silly. It's not like UK has been unbeatable this year. If UK plays well, yeah, they'll win. If they don't, and Bama does, it could be interesting.

I would normally agree but not this year. Last game at Rupp is a perfect example. Poythress misses several games with an injury but conveniently makes it back just in time to play us. Not that he was the missuing key but it just shows you our sh###y luck when it comes to UK this year. Also I think UK has gotten at least 1 offensive rebound every single offensive trip down court in the 2 games against us. We can't rebound against bad teams much less one of the 2 best teams in the league. If UK shoots over 25% from the field we have no chance with our lack of rebounding.

Kentucky - If Cal is serious about wanting the SEC to be well represented in the NCAA Tournament he will play all his white walk ons from Hopkinsville, Danville and Middlesboro and let the 5-stars take a break before the NCAAs.

3rd time we have played UK this year.
1st time we play them that they didn't lose the game before us and come in pissed off.
Maybe that will help keep it close....maybe.

Derek Willis is a Bullitt County white boy. I'm sorry.

In all seriousness, it'll be interesting to see how they operate with a full, healthy roster.

Should any team ever really be optimistic about facing kentucky in the SECT?

If you don't think A&M vs UK in the SEC Tournament isn't a toss up at best, I'm not sure what to tell you.

I'm literally saying it is a tossup. But we shouldn't feel doomed like the other SEC teams would be

This Kentucky team is beatable by other teams with good talent (A&M, theoretically LSU).

Our team just doesn't have anywhere near enough unless Kentucky just goes into meltdown mode.

If UK does face A&M in the final, it will likely go to OT again. Hoping UK with the big home court advantage gives us the edge.

I'm not saying nobody even has a chance, obviously that's not true. And A&M has by far looked like the most consistently good team this season.

I'm just saying...UK in a tournament setting is hard to bet against, even if they aren't quite as good this year as they have been.
