At the beginning of the game, Auburn flies an eagle.
At the beginning of the game, LSU parades a REAL TIGER in a cage around the stadium.
Case closed for who the "real Tigers of the SEC" are.

He picked Kentucky to win the NC and Jason Dufner to win the Masters. Kentucky lost and Dufner got cut today. This all happened within the past four days. Dude is like the black plauge of picks
*If he picks Auburn to win prior to this game everything I said in this thread is hereby null and void

I kind of agree… seems like we're due for one from Auburn and I'm worried about our QB situation.
LOL, when do y'all not say this? I'm never worried about the QB stuation. With the worst QB play we've had in decades and the best QB Auburn had all time, we still only lost by a TD. One McCalleb jet sweep (I believe that was the play) was the deciding factor. Landry got his arse on the kickoff return the next year though.

That 4th down LSU went for was also very Les Miles and a huge boo-boo.

Oh so having a tiger in a cage automatically gives LSU the edge? LOL, no

Yes. And we're named after a Civil War regiment.
Live tiger...Civil war badasses...we win

What SEC school doesn't have some sort of Civil War connection in their history? Sorry still no bueno
I'll compromise, beginning this year whoever wins the game (Auburn) will be considered the "real" tigers until the follow year

Look, your fans yell "War Eagle" while we yell "Geaux Tigers!" That alone should seal the deal.
I have never seen a school as mascot-conflicted as Auburn is. First, ya'll were the Plainsmen. The the War Eagle thing came to play, And somehow down the line, you began using Tigers. Schizo much?
Meanwhile, in Baton Rouge, there was no confusion over our athletic nicknames. We chose a nickname from a brave Civil War unit..who were inspired to use the Tiger logo of the Washington Artillery of Mexican War fame... synonymous with hard fighting. Thus the Fighting Tigers.
It's time, past time really, for some brave leader at Auburn to stand up and say..."We're not Tigers. There are no tigers in the state of Alabama, and there never were, unless you count the Louisiana Tigers who passed through our state on their way to fight in Virginia. We're the War Eagles!"
Past time for that.

The second T in there stands for "Tiger". I'm not sure what your point is, as it only serves to reinforce mine. There is no, and never has been, any confusion in Baton Rouge over our nickname.
Give it up man, we have a long history of using Tigers in our state...
Tiger logo of the Washington Artillery
Coat of Arms
...longer than Auburn has been a school.

Not correct. Auburn fielded a team before LSU and has always claimed Tigers as the official mascot.

Aren't y'all bickering about what tiger to use as a mascot right now? Why don't you use this one, it's pretty cool?
Oh and if your school cant even agree on which tiger to use as the "official" mascot I believe that precludes you from having any sort of exclusivity within the sec . . . Booom!!!!
