Wouldn't he be long gone before little brother hits campus? How much confidence would you put in that offer? Either he's good enough to get offers in his own right or OU forgets this offer long before it becomes binding.

Shhhh....the okies don't think anyone can figure out their scheming ways.

Either way it's pathetic on OU's part. One of their fans thinks BV is playing 4-D chess with the move, but I think he might be clinically retarded. The fan I mean.

Walter Nolen is the #1 DT

Maybe on paper but this dude was more productive than Walter, he was probably our biggest disrupter this year and we played Bama and were in the playoffs. Whoever gets this dude is gonna win the lottery.

Yes. What difference does that make? His little brother is a freshman in HS.

AGAIN, slapdick, Oklahoma is the only team in the running that has a returning starter at Damonic's position. It is the rest of you who are desperate.

Trying to spin your shite staff getting broadsided by V on Damonic's visit is what's pathetic. And if old Eli Drinkzfromdicks had offered his little brother while he was visiting Oklahoma, you'd be signing an entirely different story.

We return one starter, got a guy from Florida in McClellan who was a starter for them. Got another portal DT for depth. If Williams picks Mizzou, then McClellan (Oklahoma boy who didn't even think about going back btw) becomes depth. By no means are we desperate.

How do you know I was talking about you Charlotte?

You clearly can't. It's just an offer and he's a '27 kid. If he turns out to be a stud we actually pursue, then we were his first offer and that will go a long way. If he doesn't, we don't pursue. Simple as that. There's no downside to offering him.

McLellan is a turd.

That's why you're after Williams.

Today is the day he chooses. Whoever gets him is getting a great player. Hope it’s us but he is worth all the hype for all teams trying to snag.

Sounds like Texas is out, he apparently is looking for a monster NIL deal..
but you are right, he is a great player, so props to the team that lands him..

I think it will be OU or Missouri.

You clearly feel strongly about this.

We will be sure and get this memo to Venables so he can save face.

No one knows. He has kept this locked up tighter than Fort Knox. Anyone claiming insider info is just looking for clicks.

Its actually refreshing - a rare case where the insider hounds don’t know and all the power shifts to the recruit. No one to take away his day and his decision. Too many times people know way ahead and it spoils things for them.

We’ll all know when he announces. And its been drama free from his camp. Nice to see for a change. Wish him luck wherever he goes.

LSU has moved on. The kid and his handler are asking for an asinine amount of money.

And this is why Oklahoma will never be another Nebraska..

This has OU written all over it.

That's a double edged sword, though. I don't know what Texas and OU's situations are, but how do you, as LSU, offer this kid $1 million out of the portal and tell your All-American LT he should be satisfied with $400k? Texas could out bid either of us and the rumor is that they are also balking at what he's asking for. At some point you have to say enough is enough. I wish all three programs would turn him down if he's asking for what is being rumored.

Not really. It's just funny to see how some paperclips like to spin shite. Do you really think the transparent offer to his little brother is going to sway his decision? Seems like you are discounting this family's intelligence.
