I think either team getting a 3-0 is unlikely. Hell, it's baseball and weird things happen.
I'm not entirely sure the best team, whoever it is, wins the series, again, odd shite happens on the diamond.
I predict A&M 2-1.

Anytime A&M is involved in any athletic event....the world takes notice. They are the biggest thing that has ever happened to the SEC. Didn't you know that?

Its at The Box and, historically, LSU thrives on series such as this. Now, the current team needs to step up and continue with this history.
A&M's pitching staff was not comfortable last weekend against Arkansas. I know the weather delays had an affect, but I think they'll bring some of these issues with them on Thursday.
LSU wins 2-1. But, it is a close exciting series.

I would be worried more about dropping 2 to Hogs and hope it's not the start of a trend for A&M
Championships are won in May/June not March and April.
It's a great matchup for late April but both teams still have a lot to play for after no matter what happens.

I wish it were a 4 game series. Everyone knows the Aggies have trouble getting even just 1 out of 4

I think that the Tigers face an uphill battle. Having an ace like Chavis will be tough to beat on Friday. And then having that stud Chavis at second base and that other guy Chavis in Left field and then closing with Chavis all while having Chavis available for middle relief? It doesn't seem fair, Aggie with so many big chiefs and so few little Indians...
I think LSU is doomed.

A&M just plays LSU tough. I predict three games decided by 1 run, as it was last year in The Park That Blue Bell Built.
Aggies are at or near the top in every defensive and offensive category. LSU's statistical edge is more on the offensive side, but is top 5 in every major defensive stat.
A big difference is that A&M hasn't shown an ability to steal bases. In low scoring affairs, manufacturing your own runs becomes very important. I think LSU sweeps based on their ability to swipe bases.

Pimp, I knew a kid who went on a recruiting visit to A&M and they had this Chavis guy set up as his player host for the weekend. Didn't go so well.
They didn't go anywhere or do anything. Just sat in Chavis' apartment and talked.
