I forgot Cadillac won rookie of the year. I also didn't realize he rushed for 4000 yards. I withdraw my bust statement.

Brown and Cadillac had ok careers. Running backs are pretty much impossible to figure out if they will have success at the next level.

Busts are players who are waived and end up out of the league within 4 years.

The only player from Alabama or Auburn that was highly drafted that really fits that description is Trent Richardson.

Not all first round picks are MVP candidates, and guys drafted towards the end of the 1st round are expected to be average to above average starters. Most of these guys have done just that.

This stuff is all so silly.

They definitely aren't busts but they also didn't live up to the hype they had coming out of college...comparable to most bama players imo

Who would have thought that serious knee injuries would effect RBs careers in the NFL?

Williams more so than Brown. He tore his patellar tendon in both knees, right on in 07 and left one in 08. It's very rare to be able to come back from one, much less two of those injuries.

Brown tore his right ACL in 2007 but nothing else that was a "career ending" type injury. He was hurt a decent bit, but it was your typical injuries that NFL RB's have.

Despite your poor troll they were still the core players on the best SEC team in at least the last 30 years.

You went overboard here.

He was not a big guy and he was TB's O at the time. Gruden ran him in the ground and took years off his career, IMO. Ronnie Brown finished second in ROTY voting when Caddy won it, IIRC.

All three of those guys are first-class, stand-up guys, too. I wouldn't consider any of them "busts."
