Well, with an RPI of 38, that metric would suggest being the second 10-seed. When you have the #1 SOS and 6 wins against the top 50 in RPI, you're making a good case. Also, 8 of the losses were against the top 50 along with only 2 losses outside the top 100.

I think it's more about matchups at that point. They're the 7 that gets to match up with Duke.
