Any of y'all been to the Moe's BBQ in Tuscaloosa? The one in Vestavia Hills is very good. I've gotten ribs there before, but we'll usually get the Double Wide or Triple wide meal for a family. The Jalapeno cornbread is great.

There are two Dreamland locations in Tuscaloosa. I would go to the one near downtown on the Black Warrior River. The ribs can be hit or miss sometimes. The sauce and white bread is amazing. They now have smoked sausage which is really awesome!!!! Definitely order the smoked sausage!!!!

I've been to one (not Tuscaloosa). It is pretty good for a franchise/chain type bbq place. Not in Archibald's league though, IMO.

The smoked hot wings at Moe's are incredible. They usually run out of them quickly. The sides at Moe's like jalapeno corn bread is really good.

Hey WDE 24 is the really good bbq restaurant in Auburn called Barret's? Any other bbq places that are really good over there? I am starting to travel down to Auburn-Opelika on business and always love finding a local place.

I'm not the best one to ask. I don't know the AU BBQ scene very well.

Ya. Went the opening week. Good solid bbq. Nothing that blew my skirt up though. More of a bar than a BBQ joint.

I dont like mike and eds. Plus I'd rather support the local places than a chain for BBQ.

They have only recently become a chain. Auburn and Phenix City were the first, and started by the same people at the same time

You cannot beat a chopped pork sandwich from BBQ house with a side of stew and slaw. Then if you wanna be a fatass their peanut butter pie is the best I've ever had.

And I'd much rather have Byron's for breakfast than BBQ house. Their smoked sausage is pretty damn good.

I lived right down the street from the Mike and Ed's in Tuscaloosa for a couple of years. They didn't even need to take my order after a while.

Meat. It was really dry when I went and had to soak it in sauce. BBQ house has always been my favorite and I go atleast once everytime I'm in auburn.
