Les Miles is a dumbass....even Erin Andrews chuckles when he speaks.

Why risk a turnover going into the half. It was smart to play conservative, because we get the ball to start the half.

He was laying on the ground before it moved.

eta: Run it on first down, take a shot downfield. ARK's defense is nothing special, and we have big playmakers. Give it a shot. If it falls incomplete, okay, fine, you killed a lot of clock anyway and can end the half.

Defense played great all half with the exception of stupid penalties and not wrapping up a fricking QB on 3rd and forever on that last drive, a deep pick does nothing with 12 seconds left.

The ball was moving before he went down. Watch it again.

I wonder if Arky could still challenge? They'd have enough time left to kick a FG.

Interesting question.

Well, that was as bad a half as I think we can play offensively and much of the credit goes to the LSU defense. However, with that being said, I can't believe we are only down by 11 so we'll see who makes the best adjustments at half. I like our chances to come back in the 2nd half.

To be fair, LSU has to be ranked #1 in not taking advantage of the other team playing like shite this year. We'd print T-Shirts if all of those factories weren't Bama-owned

the ball was moving out from his cradle before he hit the ground. that could have been challenged and it would have been Arkys ball with 4 secs left.

:graspingatstraws: It was in his arms on the ground. A slight roll (I missed it if it happened) is never overturned in that case because the ball is still in his possession.

He lost possession of the ball before he fell down. Just because he was touching the ball whenever he was down does NOT mean it wasn't a fumble.

It was a fumble. LSU got lucky. Go frick yourself.

He was down and the ball came out. It wasn't a fumble and replay later will prove it.

Well I wonder if we can at least slow the defensive line at all the second half......I can picture them laying their ears back and bringing the heat even more the second half

I just watched it in 1/15 RT speed. He definitely lost possession, but his right arm kind of blocks it all, so they probably would have said inconclusive.

We ended the half with consecutive three-and-outs. What will it take for us to go out there and not start the second half with another couple 3-and-O's? We need two more TDs to have a chance in this game, because I think Arky could be good for 17-21 points in the second half. Mallet's not gonna misfire all night.

Yeah, damn that right arm for blocking the sight of it by wrapping around the ball!

agree it was a fumble but LSU has paid the refs. someone needs to find out who that all are, where they live, where they work and do a background check on all their recent financial transactions.
