He's mixing me up with others as usual.

And I have always said this award was subject to appellate review so he's probably mixing up my comments too.

I don't think I've given many personal opinions or analysis about this case at all.

Well-known that they were great friends and, while they had different legal opinions, respected each other a great deal. Unfortunately, it’s a lost concept in today’s world that people can respect each other and be friends despite ideological differences.
