I would have been okay with Fountain being fired and keeping Ellis, especially if Muschamp wasn't available. That being said, Fountain is still here and I'm hoping to see some improvements across the board.

Field position is important and a missed FG cost us the Wisky game

Missed field goals sometimes happen and Carlson was fine this year. Can't blame a random missed field goal on Fountain.
Now the punting situation he can be blamed.

With the way Gus plays offense at times he's okay with going 3 and out from the 20 sometimes in consecutive drives.
When the offense is struggling it will be nice to know we can pin opposition deep in their own territory which will also make things easier for the defense.
Also, increasing yardage in the return game would be nice

I think Fountain should be fired if we don't return every punt for a TD. Just my opinion

Fountain gets unwanted hate, you can't just go firing every coach just cause you want to see minimal improvement. I think having more than one guy do everything will help out.

waiting to see what happens this year. New return men, new punter. Hopefully better defense. The better defense can help a return game and better field position.

They barely had special teams that mattered.
FG we already knew we had a good one. Punter looks improved but it was just him and the kick returner. We don't know what kick off and punt coverages look like which are crucial during a game.
Poor kick off coverage and an injury help cost us the NC.
