Yeah that guy was a total attention whore during his recruitment. It was pretty fun to watch as a fan of a school that wasn't involved in the circus.

Yep, as they carted him off to jail and threw the book at him. OTOH, Auburn PD would have told him it was past curfew and given him a ride back to the athletic dorm.

Knowing how cops work, this was probably nothing.

Cops, NCAA, FEDS, Obama, players.......we pay errybody. You pay a coach to underachieve. It's all about priorities.

Go trick yourself. Georgia is the school who let a kid named Brandon Williams return to their football team after he had been arrested for rape a few years ago.

Brandon Williams was accused of rape, yes. He was also acquitted when a jury found no evidence of sexual assault, after which he was reinstated to the football team, in accordance with university rules. The relevant point here is that UGA players are not given special treatment by the local law enforcement. There is no UGA "overtime detail" for ACCPD designed to keep UGA players from getting arrested.

If an Auburn player had been found not guilty of rape by a jury in Auburn like Brandon Williams was by a jury in Athens, Georgia yards like you would claim it was a coverup. Just more of the typical moral superiority bs from you mutts to compensate for the fact that your football program sucks and has won virtually nothing in the last three decades

Were Auburn cops not being paid to watch football players, presumably to keep them out of trouble? That sort of seems like special treatment to me. It also seems like a conflict of interest.

How would it be a coverrup? That would imply that something was covered up. This case went to a jury and the prosecution presented all the evidence and the plaintiff testified. The Superior court jury dismissed it out of hand. That's what I call fully prosecuted by law enforcement, not covered up.

Umm no Auburn hired a security service to watch players. And that was like 5 years ago. Move the frock on and accept the fact Auburn > Georgia.
