Baton Rouge is better than anything the state of Alabama has to offer. Like comparing San Diego to Detroit!!
Watching y'all argue about Alabama vs. Baton Rouge, is akin to watching Cleveland and Detroit argue about which city is less of a shithole.

Not everyone can be the murder capital of North America.

Both schools have some downright terrible fans.
and you don't think auburn does? get outta here!
plus, for some really odd reasons, auburn fans get a real kick out of making shite up about other fans and experiences at other stadiums. then they spread these rumors as fact.
this is a pathetic characteristic of some auburn fans and probably gets y'all many votes for being disliked.

I can't think of a more nationally disliked fan base than the University of Florida overall.
Alabama is salt of the earth and at least acts like they have been there before win or lose but, UF fans act ridiculous either way every time opportunity affords itself.

Funny, I have literally only heard of the "throwing bags of piss" thing in regards to Florida. I believe this is because the Florida student section is above the visitors section. LSU seats the students in the lower bowl so throwing bags of piss wouldn't make any sense.

I've spent time in both Houston and Dallas. Nightlife sucks in both. Baton Rouge is a much funner town. I am not even including College Station in this comparison because it wouldn't even be fair.

I didn't pay much attention to that until I joined this site

We're in agreement concerning Houston and College Station, but Dallas has incredible nightlife. Unfortunately you'd never find it just by going downtown and walking around. I thought it was a dead zone until I moved here a couple years ago and started learning my way around. You need to have someone who knows the city show you around.
Uptown, Oak Lawn, Lower Greenville, The West End, Deep Ellum, Bishop Arts, and Addison all offer great nightlife of different sorts. Not to mention the UNT music scene up in Denton, and all the options in Ft. Worth. There's vibrant nightlife in DFW for everyone, regardless of your scene.
If you're ever in town let me know, I'll be happy to buy you a couple beers, and spend an evening talking about how much LSU sucks.

Depends on your definition of "fun."

Yeah, Dallas was pretty cool in that regard. Haven't done FW yet.

I did the Deep Ellum thing (mainly because of the Grateful Dead song) and it was okay. I'll take you up on the beer if I'm back that way.

Opposing fans at Williams-Brice stadium should fear for safety, seriously. And don’t take your wives or daughters there, regardless of what team you cheer for, because profanity flows more freely than the cheap beer.
I had zero problems there last year. People were very quiet in fact. Very very quiet.
