Cool
A slightly better D and we lose only 1-2 games. UGA and maybe Bama or MSU last year. The rest we win. We will have that better D this year and our offense will score the points. LSU will be one of 10-11 wins for AU.

Your secondary and LBs will still be pretty bad. You could definitely lose 3 or 4 games and have the best offense.

Not really

But yeah sure a team could still have a top offense and lose several games, but that won't be the case for AU. Really I promise.

With our O, our D just needs to be serviceable. Last year it was pathetic.

Auburn's starting linebackers and safeties will be pretty good this year. Tre Williams, Kris Frost, Cass McKinzy, Rudy Ford and Tray Matthews are all players. Now, cornerback, that's a different story. Jonathan Jones is out due to foot surgery, TJ Davis tore his ACL and we just really don't have the horses there right now.

I see your problem now. I was talking realities and you are off in a dream world. Let me know when you want to get serious.

They're not going to be the sieve they were last year but outside of Cass I don't think your LBs are very good. Also that secondary will have problems even with Matthews. Just my opinion of course.

I think pretty highly of Kris Frost as many scouts do, but I still think he needs to be more consistent. He plays like an All-American some games, then looks lost in others. Keep you eye on Tre Williams, former 5* from Mobile, AL.

Yeah, but what secondary doesn't?

IMO, our pass rush will help out more so this year than last, but again, I don't trust our cornerbacks. I'm hoping the defensive line and safety play can make up for it.

All in all, Will Muschamp should improve our defense.

I'll be there in the fall one ginger amongst many hoping that we will win in JHS which we never do but nevertheless watching. Maybe Ben Obamanu's ghost will show up as Swag Kelly leads us to victory

If one tries to gauge a team's quality by watching a spring game, they're wasting their time...period.

Auburn should have a pretty good offense next season, not based on their Spring Game, but based on they have Gus calling plays for them. That having been said if they get into a game where the other team keeps them from getting into an offensive rhythm they will be in trouble. Its happened every year to the Gus Bus and the results usually aren't pretty.

I still like their chances to contend for the West this year and I think they probably have a better shot going into the season then anyone not named Bama.

especially one where the 1s play the 2s. I could throw for 250 and 2 tds in a half against auburns 2nd team d

Their wide outs look like they were covered and still caught the ball and it was by design.

i dont know about this. I saw a lot of drops from the WRs, even Duke (although that's probably more of a fluke) But Davis dropped a few and Louis is known for his drops.

Plus, did you consider the CBs that were covering them?

they have a good offense, but im not sold on the WRs just yet.
