Mason deserved to be fired last year despite being dealt a shitty hand and it being year one (his team just looked that incompetent and lost). However, Vandy will stick with him for at least 3 seasons, imo.

Doubt it. They under-perform most years and they keep giving him raises.

You are right Mr AU. Only way Richt gets fired is if he's caught with a hooker, and that won't happen. And I don't think that's a good thing.

Richt will never be fired. A mutual parting perhaps.

Sumlin if he has another shite year without Johnny. I think they have the talent to step it back up though.

When Sumlin goes 7-5(Ark,Bama,Miss,Auburn,LSU) this year he will be asked to leave. But please Sumlin never leave.

If this season goes in the shitter for Les it could get warm, but no one gets fired from the sec this year.

Stoops is fine, he has at least 2 more years to show progress.

I guess I should have included Richt as well because rumor on the street was he may have been out if we would have lost the Belk Bowl. I think Richt stays though because our recruiting is better than ever and we have no QB right now. I thought Stoops should be fine, but if he goes 4-8 or worse this year I think he will absolutely be on the hot seat. I really don't see any school other than UGA, UK, Vandy, or maybe A&M firing their coach for a 4-8 or worse season.

They are. He's not going anywhere unless he leaves on his own accord for awhile.

I'll take Mason, especially since he's made some assistant changes so he won't have crutch to fall back on.

Mason inherited the biggest shite show in the nation even if he went 0-12 he wasn't going to get fired from that job. Even though he did a terrible job to his credit his team did start to play a little bit better as the year went on.

Agree. Unless someone pulls a Chiz, no ones going anywhere. Les and Richt could get heated enough where mutual agreements are made. But both would take a mediocre year

Nah he gets to 2016. That is when its affordable to fire him, after 2016. It won't be us for this next off season.

It's strange, there's usually a couple coaches on the verge of being fired each year. Most all schools are content with their head coach at the moment. The only coach that's not doing well is Mason. I guess it's him. Quality thread question

Sumlin. Not being able to beat Miles will ultimately doom him.

Butch Jones after Tennessee continues to suck. Jones is 12-13 overall at Tennessee and 5-11 in conference play. Richt is not great no doubt but he has a respectable 136-48 total record at UGA and 78-34 in the SEC.

There we go. One prediction for 7-5. I'll try to remember this is here.

I think we win 9 this year.

I think with that swiss cheese defense you'll be lucky to finish above 8

I honestly think LSU's dynamic offense coupled with the Chavis for Steele trade makes Less more than a little vulnerable.

No way LSU fires Les Miles. He's the face of LSU and I read they are planning a Les Miles statue at that stadium. Les is to LSU what Joe Paterno is to Penn State.
