Last Night:

Vandy beats USCe 12-0 - still calling VU 2-1 in the series since we have had trouble closing out games recently.

UK over UT 5-0 - will say UK takes the series 2-1 though a sweep is very possible, just seems like the wheels could come off UT at any time.

Tonights Series Starts:

Ole Miss over Auburn (2-1) - The Barn wins K Thompson's start and that's it once again.

LSU over UGA (2-1) - UGA pulls one game out at home.

Mizzou over Bama (2-1) - Next weekend's series in Nashville should be fun just got my tickets for Friday night.

A&M over Arkansas (2-1) - though I could easily see an Aggy sweep, Hogs have won 3 series in a row playing better of late.

UF over Miss St (2-1) - MSU gets one at home.

LSU 3-0
TAM 3-0
VU 3-0
UK 3-0
UF 2-1
OM 2-1
MU 2-1

only 5 of 14 schools will have a winning conference record after this weekend. 6 schools in the running to NOT make Hoover. SEC baseball collectively taken a step back this season.

still 3 schools serious contenders to win Omaha

It's time for another sweep. I know it's on the road, but still, it's time for another sweep.

Man, if Arky beat A&M 2-1 that would shake up the SEC.

Would it? A&M would still likely have the highest RPI and either still be in 1st in the west or at least be 1/2 game behind LSU.

A little conservative, I like it.

Vandy's pitcher can't grip the ball in the rain. Bases walked loaded in the 7th in a tie game. LSU needs Vandy to drop this one.

yes, b/c if A&M wins the Arky series, they can still lose to LSU and win the west.

FYI, RPI doesn't mean shite in the SEC.

SEC standing is also important for SEC tournament.

So does Mizzou. Who in the hell would have thought that the Tigers from up north could exit a weekend this late in the year tied for first in the east or even all alone in first in the east.

Big win for us tonight behind the best performance I've seen out of Wynkoop in his career. Now we at least have a shot at winning the series tomorrow. Haven't been able to say that in awhile.

Speak for yourself, LSU, A&M, and UF are looking good. LSU is young but seem to be getting it together
