Seems to me, they know they aren't great, and don't decide to show their fandom and troll, like some school's fans on here.
I think the OP was referring to the lack of attendance at the game tonight since it was on TV.
And it was rainy, cold (55) and miserable out. I'm sure if it had been 70 degrees and clear weather the place would have been packed.
USC fans are willing to support lousy teams, but not many are willing to endure cold weather to do it.

No but really. Have you ever not posted in a SC thread?
eta: And to answer the OP. This very well could be the first time we miss the NCAA tournament since 1999.

Nothing wrong with the fans. The weather was really crappy yesterday. Nobody wants to go sit in cold rainy crap to watch crap baseball.

I said it when the hire was made, LSU made the same mistake. Do not groom an assistant for the job to replace a legend. South Carolina could have had a number of sitting head coaches that would have crawled to that job. They still can.

Yeah, there were some LSU fans who basically said, "Good luck," when Holbrook was hired. I think most of us wanted to believe that he was the heir apparent, in no small part because of how much success the team had with him as assistant coach (three CWS finals, two titles). But y'all were right.
I just hope that Tanner sees the light and pulls the trigger as soon as the season is over, and USC baseball gets back on track. It's one of the top-five jobs in the country - sterling facilities, elite fanbase, and plenty of surrounding talent. We're just missing a coach.

Can't really come on here and talk smack when you got nothing to brag about. I mean, it's not like we're arkansas or something.

Shitty weather.
Team plays with no heart.
Can't hit worth a shite.
Defense and pitching is playing so tight because we can't give up 2 runs or it's over.
Coaching seems lackluster. Used to have a saying "win anyway", that seems long gone.
Not only are we losing to the top teams in the SEC, we don't even look capable of competing.
Haven't won an SEC series since Kentucky (lol) and that isn't going to change anytime soon since we have Vandy this weekend and LSU next. ( Fla, Vandy, LSU in consecutive series ... ouch )
Our best pitcher began struggling and now has to have Tommy John.
The games are boring because we can't hit or pitch so we stall for 15 minutes every inning getting arms warmed up.
Fans are used to winning and see no excuse for not being able to compete.

I expect the game and the crowd to be better tonight.

I get it, you're sensitive. It wasn't even a dig or anything close to it. It's a forum, get over it.

Dunno about that, the weather's not supposed to be much better. It'll be warmer but supposed to rain a majority of the time tonight.

That's nice. Now you would you like to answer the question?
