Henry has worked his A$$ off during the post season. I fully expect him to be better in groups than he was. Plus he has the drive to excel.

The dude is awesome. Dominated the last three games, and we didn't feed him enough in the OSU game.

He's probably been our hardest working player since he's came to Bama. But he's never been a between the tackles guy while at Bama, and that's the biggest thing stopping him from being the best back in college.

The fact a guy his size can even run a sweep is impressive. But that can't be his main weapon if he wants to play in the nfl.

CCTider you do realize he has more yards between the tackles than on the edge right? Might want to research that.

I think he will be very good this year. Similar to Ingram and Lacy in their first year as the 1.

"Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane." In all seriousness, he is a great skill player...he just needs to get way stronger in his lower body so he can break tackles in traffic and move piles forward for an extra yard or two. I'm curious to see if he can make that jump and become a complete back this year. If not, sure hope Harris is the real deal and can be an inside runner for us or 3rd and short will haunt us all year.

He runs between the tackles fine. If you go watch the game he had against Oklahoma, you'll see that is where he got the majority of his yards.

He had plenty of such runs in last years highlights as well.

We weren't running sweeps because of Henry, we were running them because of our O-Line.

Henry is going to be fine - he knows the areas he needs to improve and he is killing himself to get better - he knows he is the "man" this year.

Exactly. Henry was an absolute animal down the stretch last year during our most important games.

Living testimony that high school stats are worth, well, not very much. The all time leading HS rusher. He's a damn fine running back, but if his high school stats are to be believed, he should have already established himself as one of the greatest college football running backs ever. They aren't, and he isn't.

Most D1 players that are highly recruited have eye-popping stats in high school. That doesn't mean that they are going to match that production in college, nor should anyone expect that. That very rarely happens.

His high school stats were inflated bc of the competition he played against. Only a fool would've expected him to match his HS production.

Dude is a damn beast and doesn't get near enough love from Bama fans. Ole Miss was the only game where he got 17+ carries and didn't go for 100+. He'll be the Man this year.

Isn't that the truth. Maybe one day we'll learn to keep feeding the hot hand.

I don't think Henry is Eddie Lacy when it comes to getting those 6 yard gains up the gut but I think he's better than some of you are giving him credit for.

We lost to OSU in the 2nd Half because we didn't feed the beast. Period. Take away the passes run the sweep.

It feels like when we lose control of a game, we have a tendancy to sort of panic sometimes. 2010 USCe, 2012 A&M, 2013 OU, 2014 OSU come to mind. We get down a few TD's and decide that we have to start slinging it around instead of leaning on the ground game.

Dude's got to work on lowering his shoulders best he can and reading the holes faster. I hope they had him running full-speed this way all damn spring. A few lessons in muscle memory could make all the difference. If he can begin to make faster direction judgments and cutbacks as well as lowering his shoulders, he could be a stronger version of an Ingram/Lacy hybrid.
