Then Corey Grant has a place in the NFL too.

The player above, Jordan Todman (Connecticut), has been off and on NFL rosters, but just completed his first full season last year with the Jaguars. The Panthers just signed him (likely for the attributes I note below).

Todman is 5-10, 198 pounds. Grant's size is comparable.

Todman has track speed, as does Grant.

Todman is used as a player "in space", like Grant.

Todman is used as a kick returner, like Grant.

Todman was selected in the 6th round. I'm hoping Grant's Pro Day and the skills and speed he displayed get him a chance to be selected in the lower rounds as well.

32 guys not invited to the combine last year were drafted. Corey grant will be one of those guys in '15. Not high, and maybe not to the best fit, but he probably goes.

Getting drafted is only the beginning.

Grant is fast, but not very good at football. He was cut for bama during their spring tryouts. Then he barely played as a senior here.

Omac> Grant
