One of our players last year was bi, if not fully gay. In this day and age I'm not sure it's as uncommon as we'd like to think, I would just imagine that most people attempt to keep it to themselves unlike MS.

Enh, its 2015... who cares what someone does in their private life behind closed doors? I wouldn't want to see him or her making out with their SO at the local bus stop, but then again that goes for heterosexual couples as well.

It's 2015. I don't care who does what to whom in the bedroom as long as it doesn't affect me.

I'm loving it so far. It's a different breed of people down here, some really nice and some hardened by time. I'm not a big Key Lime fan, irony I know, but I've been to a few good dessert places here.
It's funny, at a bar called Cowboy Bill's that plays country covers and has a mechanical bull, it's all displaced Southerners. It's like how gay bars attract gay people that all moved to the island, this bar attracts anyone from the South haha.

Gay football players are super common. Anyone that thinks otherwise is just fooling themselves. And I agree about MS. I'm happy for him coming out, but the media also helped blow that up. I didn't come out until years after I played, but I'm happy I never had to deal with the media frenzy. Coming out under normal circumstances is hard enough as it is.

He belongs in the CFB Hall of Fame, and that's not because I'm a Tennessee fan, ask any Bama fan who saw him play and they'll say the same thing.
Absolutely. I mean Jackie was so important to UT that he won the game against Bama the first time around almost single-handedly - that's the whole reason Bear designed a play around him. When it was brought to the attention of the guys he played with who are in the HoF they were shocked. Most said, 'we thought he was already in it.' His brother and UT are really starting to make a push for him now. I'm hoping he'll get in soon.
I would've loved to have seen Jackie play live. I've never heard anything but praise from both UT and Bama fans.
