I am sure he believs the money will also be there in three years. Also, how much does someone really need? 2.5 million a year is a lot of money.

Remember the last time we hired a coach from a school with the initials WSU? He had the time of his life also, albeit for a short time.

I am guessing Marshall is probably scared of bringing his young daughter on campus. Men like Jonathan Taylor are roaming around.

your talking about ultra competitive people trying to also take care of his family.
If he was single, I can imagine someone thinking "I don't care, I just want to win."
but with kids and family and the generational wealth opportunity he has, it is very hard to turn down.
not to mention the opportunity to face a lot of the best coaches in a rapidly improving conference with a lot of exposure and resources.
not to mention the guy is from South Carolina so the south is not this foreign land.

Yea but do you really want to live in Tuscaloosa?
Austin would be a much nicer city for his family.

I'd rather live in Northport than any city/town in Texas.

There are some gorgeous areas of Tuscaloosa - including The University of Alabama and anywhere North River.

I've moved all over for work and personal reasons, including northwest Arkansas, and I would move back to Tuscaloosa in a heartbeat.
