Gus Malzahn was hired then.

We admit Gene Chizik lost control of the football players.

Fair enough, but this reminds me how Alabama fans were acting after the Auburn felony four. Hope these threads don't come back and bite you in the arse.

Not that it matters but Austin Flynn got arrested within a month of Bielemas hiring if I recall correctly. Dude has seriously tightened the ship, it's damned impressive

Trust me, I fully expect an Auburn arrest, citation or charge (maybe a few) in the near future. Spring Break isn't over yet.

I got to admit bro you should have listed all the names in the time frame given by the article. You could have said only 3 since Malzahn became HC. That's just my preference though.

Gus Malzahn has done a wonderful job of instilling his Christian faith into running a football program.

To be fair, I remember you stating you thought getting this recent kid could be bad news and I am pretty sure you would have preferred he never get offered.

Yeah, if putting a date rape drug in a girls drink, carrying her unconscious body to a dorm room, then raping her and violating her with a water bottle while others watched is clean, then yes. Very clean.

I chose the 2013 time frame because almost every, if not every, SEC that coached then is still coaching now. Will Muschamp doesn't coach Florida anymore, but Jim McElwain just took over for him. Bret Bielema, Gus Malzahn and Mark Stoops were all hired in 2013, as well.

In my time here I have seen it too many times. One team gets jumped on and then soon after there will be a different team dealing with the same.

Yeah I've been pretty vocal against JT. It definitely wasn't Saban's best decision. I hope Saban approaches this with humility and learns from his mistake, but it will probably be another "'preciate your interest in the game" press conference on Monday.

You chose the time frame because it makes Auburn look better. Don't bring that other shite in here!

It's the most logical timeframe. Derek Mason was hired in 2014 and Jim McElwain was just hired in 2015, but all of coaching tenures were active in 2013. That's 12/14.

Why would we care about what happened with Tennessee under Derek Dooley? Auburn under Gene Chizik? Arkansas under Bobby Petrino? Ole Miss under Houston Nutt? So forth?

Well it is pretty stupid to lump arrests under one coach with the current coach.

According to the list we had 12 arrests under Petrino/JLS in three years and only 2 under Bielema in two years.

It's obviously not a school issue but rather a coach issue.

Or giving an average of arrests per year per team, starting when the current coach began coaching. That makes the date independent of bias and places all teams on an even field. The only thing you could really complain about then is sample size.
