I was about to say ... you beat me to it, because Pam Parsons had them in the Final Four back in like '79 or '80ish maybe.

This team is good - but this team cannot beat UConn in the big game. Matter of fact, Notre Dame is going to be very very very tough for us to get by. We're still just a little bit too young. We're getting there though and just about everyone returns next year.

Everybody is vying for the right to get beat by UConn by 80.

Just looked up some stats after they blasted UT.
quote:

Connecticut is the second team to win its first three NCAA Tournament games by at least 35 points, joining Geno Auriemma's 2010 which finished undefeated and won the national championship.
quote:

Connecticut has outscored its opponents by 42.5 points per game this season. How crazy is that number? The Huskies could lose their next game by *219* points and still break the NCAA record for scoring margin.
quote:

Connecticut's 105-54 win over Texas in the Sweet 16 marks the largest margin of victory in Sweet 16 game and beyond in NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament history.
quote:

Connecticut has outscored its opponents by an average of 47.7 points in the first three NCAA Tournament games. There have only been five previous instances where a team posted a scoring margin of 30 points or greater in the NCAA Tournament, and three of those times were UConn.
