I find it much easier to pull for UK than the beakers

Don't misunderstand, I've always disliked UK but I find myself rooting for them now. That was never the case with ku with one exception to my everlasting shame--the Danny Manning team. Think I disliked Billy Tubbs and the gooners even more that year.

I'm on the Whisky bandwagon.
I want a Mizzou basketball team that plays like that.
I'm all in if KA gives us that.
Kentucky is fun to watch, but I see Wisconsin as a program we should model.

Oh I like UK. All beakers think they have the history of UK when they're no where close. UK has the history and their fans, while some can be arrogant, are pretty damn cool for the most part.
Hell, I remember when A&M went into UK last year or the year before and beat UK. UK fans actually applauded the A&M effort. Some guy went off and they had the decency to know when an incredible effort had been given and the better team that night simply won. I respect that.
I would venture a guess that the wannabe's from the west have never been that way.

God, that Larry Brown led bunch of hacks versuses buck toothed Billy Tubbs. If I recall the score was 50-50 at the half.
I remember taking one look at the Sports Illustrated cover when my mom brought the mail in, Danny Manning on the cover.

No wonder that state to the west is too cowardly to play Wichita St. anymore.That was the highlight of the NCAA Tournament for me.
