Saw that both Puryear & VanLeer made all state with VanLeer being named class 4 Co-player of the year.

On the women's side both Porter & Cunningham were all-state, with Cunningham named player of the year.

And Drew Lock made it. I'll stand by the fact that our football team could put together a team that would beat the basketball team.

I don't buy that, unless they could get away with murderball.

For the BBall team to be able to compete next year they have to develop physically.

I say that half sarcastically. But only half. I bet they could give them a game.

I'd bet most football teams in power 5 conf could probably put together a pretty formidable team and compete with the bball team. Probably be pretty entertaining.

You're probably right about that.

I would like to see it. Maybe FB vs. FB though. Don't wanna get the BBall guys hurt. I'd love to see an off season, just for fun thing, where our guys can beat up on the Bama guys in hoops or something.

Agree, I keep saying that Mizzou is not that physical while watching the Sweet 16 teams. Mizzou BB is lightweight, plus they can't shoot.
