Greg Marshall about to get paid

You have no clue. Marshall will not be in play at UT.

Maybe so but the roster is in shambles right now. It's going to be a tough year 1 for whoever takes the job imo.

Maybe all other things remaining equal, UT would be a better gig.
However... the fact that their entire administration all the way down the athletic department food chain has been one of the most unstable in all of college sports for the last decade - doesn't make for a very appealing job to anyone who is already making nearly $2MIL per year.

Maybe so on paper, but I doubt he'd want to be part of the Knoxville circus.

He won't. Because with Dave Hart as AD, Tennessee is not a better hoops job.
Dave Hart is a cancer, a Gump cancer.

In all seriousness, mike white at la tech should be y'all's first call

Tennessee is definitely better. They can attract 25 thousand people for women's basketball. Just because bama might try to get Marshall doesn't mean you will be successful. Even a lot of media types like Tim Brando and Jeff Goodman laugh at the idea of Marshall going to bama

SEC is bringing the heat. You would be surprised how many coaches would love to go head to head with Calipari, Donovan, Howland, Pearl, and Anderson. Not to mention every game being televised and the stack of cash they will be getting handed.

Yeah, but did you hear about that one time Bama was paying players back in the 1930s?

I suspect UT is a better job in every sport than Bama except for Softball and Football.

I disagree.
I think Tennessee is a virus and Hart is the cure.

At the risk of provoking some mountain gump into using the term BaseVols *shudder*, why do you believe Bama baseball is the better job?
