If you listened to Frank Martin's press conference yesterday, he said some interesting things.
No decision or communication has occurred b/w he, Henry and Sheppard since the suspensions.
He's excited about next year b/c the nucleus of the team is back and will be more experienced.
He's been recruiting lights out the past month in all his spare time not coaching.
Oh, and there's interest and the possibility of bringing in Anthony Grant, who bama fired, as an Asst Coach.

Grant is a great recruiter. He's known Martin since their south Florida days. Grant brought in 14 4*'s and 1 5* player from '09-'14.
Grant took VCU to the NCAA's in 2 of his 3 seasons there. He was an Asst on the '06 National Champion Gator team.
If Frank wants Grant, he's going to have to convince Ray to open the checkbook, but SC might be a good landing place for him if he doesn't get a HC job at a smaller school.

Because we've had so much success this year courting former SEC head coaches to assistant positions.
Still, I think this is a great move, and a complete no-brainer. Maybe that's why I don't think it will happen.

Yup. I genuinely believed that deal was all but delivered. I don't believe for a moment that Muschamp wasn't contacted by USC, but I have no idea what transpired to nix it.

Think it all depends if Grant gets a HC job this off season, if he doesn't I would say there's probably a pretty high chance of landing him on the staff.

Not a shock but Grant's returning to UF, I thought that might've been the one place he'd go before here as an Asst, with the relationship he has with Donovan.

I guess he didnt get anuly HC offers, he did really well as an Asst at florida, he will help them recruit well.
