This may Be old news, but I was reading this article about Mizzou's upcoming schedule and it seems they have been riding a easy arse schedule since they been in the SEC. How they keep getting away with it is beyond me.

Usually games are scheduled years in advance. By joining the conference, they had to fill some gaps concerning their ooc schedule. Not sure of who they have in the future, but their ooc should begin to get tougher.

Eh. Uconn and Purdue are halfway decent every now and then. At least when you schedule a power 5 OOC opponent 3 years in advance, there is a chance they will be competitive.

Can't decide what would be more fun, that or the Blackout Bowl when LSU went to WVU and they experimented with selling alcohol during the game

They should be ashamed no matter how you slice. Their OOC schedule sucks arse. They schedule weak opponents out of the power 5.

It's also worked out well for them the way they bottom-load their conference games on their schedule.

They seem to always play 3 or 4 cupcake exhibition games before their first SEC game. Then when most schools like us are done with sec play, they still have 2 sec games left.

It's the same this year and if we don't handle our business, we could be left watching garbage football at end of year hoping UT or Arkansaw will knock the milk toasts off for us again...

They can't do the alcohol thing when Pinkel comes to town though I'm sure. Even though he won't be driving after the game.

I'm just thinking this should be Holgorsen's attire:

I'm less concerned with other schedules than with our habit of losing the game we should have won. We would have won the East the last 2 years had we taken care of business.

They got BYU and UConn which is OK. Who cares if their other 2 throw away games cause the winning percentage to go lower than the 13 other sec teams. They still are playing 2 ok teams

Vandy and Miss St and maybe Ole Miss are worse.

Playing Arkansas every year instead of Alabama, Auburn, or LSU will usually be an advantage for Missouri in the east. You'd think common logic, plus the fact that teams rarely play the other half now, would eliminate the fixed cross division games. Unfortunately, "tradition" has been allowed to overcome common sense.
