Destin can be pretty fun depending on the time of year. I'm jealous of the Punta Cana trip.

ON this trip, it will be just arse in the sand. Family vacation.
Will probably take my clubs and play one or two days but
more than likely just sit on the beach with the wife....
Our Punta Cana trip will be for 11 days. I hope that is enough. LOL..

I have NC State in the Elite 8. Grew up with Trevor Lacey and have followed NCSU closely all year.
Gonna try and enjoy the beach tomorrow knowing it'll be the least crowded of all the days we will be here

If you want peace and quiet, check out Navarre. Way more laid back than Pensacola or Destin.

That is one of the main reasons we go to Punta Cana when we do. August is the best time of year for me to shut my business down and it is also not crowded there.. We found a resort that we love and we just keep going there. Huge beaches with lots of room. Usually the resort is 60-70% full. I don't shut it down very ofter. Heck, I don't get the opportunity to. But when I go down there, I am a different person.

We are hoping Dauphin Island gives us some peace and quiet. Going in late July. Heard lots of good things about it down there

I honestly had no idea there was any connection between the university & the Alpha Psi Rodeo. Other than allowing them to use AU transit I'm completely in the dark as to why the university would even want to associate with them. The system in place was working when I went to school. I think it was smart to limit attendance. My Jr year (2008) it had gotten way out of hand....too many people & not enough staff. I read that they are going to "crack" down on underage drinking. What other venue would they use that could handle the size of this event?

I have been that way all day long. It has not stopped raining the entire day. Looks like more tomorrow and more next week.
