We won. Only thing that makes this win sweet is we are now in the Tourny. If we did this against any team it would be just as sweet. Trent Johnson destroyed our program left us nothing, and CJJ is rebuilding. What's funny is this team is nice but next year team will be great. At least 2 of Hornsby, TQ, and Patterson won't be starters next year and that's if both Martin and Mickey declare. If Mickey stays we have Mickey Simmons blankeney Newman and the guy that transferred from uofa, yes the true uofa as in Arizona. Next year team will be epic and our best win to date was beating UK last year in the ice dome game. After next year our best win will be winning the NCAA championship game

It was a great ending, I just wish it had come against a team with a history of excellence like Florida or Alabama.

I can remember a half-dozen game-winning buzzer beaters off the top of my head. Sure there've been more. Howard Carter had one against UGA that sealed an SEC title one year. Chris Jackson had a huge one in '89 and Ricky Blanton had two that year; one against Georgetown in front of 60000+ people in the Superdome and another to defeat a great UNLV team in the Deaf Dome. Shaq even had one or two. Yesterday was just as good as any before but couldn't call it the best. Gray's shot to beat WVU on the road back in December was just as big also.
ETA; Almost forgot maybe the biggest ever; Anthony Wilson's buzzer beater over powerhouse Memphis State to start the 1986 final four run.
