Why is the SEC tournament scheduled to be in Nashville so much. It seemed like it used to rotate but now they've pretty much set themselves on Nashville except for a few exceptions until 2025

I think it should be in Memphis. The FedEx Forum is the nicest basketball arena in the south.

Because as soon as we leave Nashville the ACC will swoop in and take it over....

i take it you have never been to sporting events at Bridgestone Arena. There is no better option.

Because keeping it in one location has worked so well for baseball and football the SEC decided to try it in basketball as well. I'm sure how close Nashville is to Kentucky doesn't hurt either.

i think the smoothie king center is just as nice as fedex forum...new orleans is a better host city than memphis as well. they need to switch it up though i agree

As far as being a great city that has a lot to offer and easy to navigate, you can't beat Nashville.

You LSU fans are so greedy. First you want them to move the football championship to New Orleans, now you want the basketball tournament as well.

Nashville is a great destination location. Wish that football would relocate there.

I kind of like having each tourney/championship in a permanent home. I think it gives more of a sense of tradition and history. And Nashville is a great city. Prob the second most fun big city in the SEC footprint.
If Auburn ever doesn't suck at basketball I'd like to go to the tourney.
