As TT posted we are now #3 in the RPI. We are also #7 in both polls & host #15 Tennessee this weekend.

These ladies are amazing. Down 6-0 in the 1st, they have tied the game in the 2nd.

6-6, bottom 2nd, 2 outs

I watched a few innings today. I am glad the sport has progressed. Years ago it was very difficult for any team to score and not nearly so good to watch.

I think the changes from using a white to yellow softball, and moving the pitching distance from 40 to 43 feet have been good for the game. It makes pitching less dominant and puts much more offense in the game.

First time ever watching a softball game yesterday. Picked a good one to make my first.

Auburn ranked 6th and above Alabama at 7. When was the last time that happened? Never?

Just curious. Why do you use the polls instead of RPI ranking in the thread title. RPI is a real factor on the seeding the NCAA uses when setting up the NCAA tourney. It's obviously your perrrogative, just wondering?

knock on wood here but if AU can take care of business the next 3 series by sweeping TAMU & Arky plus 2 of 3 @ home versus Bama we could set up a #1 versus #2 match up @ the end of the year to win the SEC regular season tile @ LSU.

Because Auburn uses their ranking and not their RPI in their press releases and box scores.

At least that's what I gather from their twitter.

When you watch the sports on TV or when they are written about they never say #4 RPI ranked Michigan is playing #11 RPI ranked LA-Lafayette.

You just want to see the #3 next to Auburn don't you..
