From what I hear from my friends on the equipment staff, Chad Kelly is all the hype from a physical standpoint. Apparently it's his job to lose now, and if he can get the scheme and the playbook down, the sky is the limit for this offense. Heard we are going to emphasize the deep ball more now too because Kelly finally gives us the arm to get it there and we now have the multiple threats at wideout to burn one on any snap.

There was a video on his instagram of him throwing the ball 70 yards. I say pretty strong.

FWIW Chase said today that he's heard Chad took about two days to catch up with DK and Ryan and since then the former two have separated themselves as the two guys.

Ryan has never impressed me. I just can't see anyone not named Chad Kelly starting at QB against UT Martin.

I remember watching pre-game warm-ups and watching Ryan throw it 50 yards in the air pretty effortlessly. No cro-hop. I was impressed.

I meant in game and in practice. I mean he's got the physical attributes, but seems to be lost on the field.
