Tis true. Kyle Field is officially the most overrated visiting stadium in all of sports.

It is painfully obvious that LSU effortlessly bosses A&M around dictating payment terms like a true kingpin. The only way A&M is able to gain any footing is to file an embarrassingly petty lawsuit which is rather unbecoming of a SEC institution. LSU has messed with their heads so much, they filed the lawsuit in the wrong state!

Don't forget about them being told by LSU what they can and cannot wear

Don't forget about #31 Matthews being told by #7 Fournette to lie down on the ground.

I would have lost a bet on that statement being true.

Damn.

The contract said $500,000. If we sued y'all, it was going to have to be in Louisiana. Se we took the $100,000 even though it was $400,000 less than what you owed us.

No. And A&M didn't pursue it because they didn't have a case (and they were embarrassed they lost to ULL-the team LSU got to legally fulfill its contractual obligations).

Nice try, pig.

That's true. We settled. You agreed to pay us $500,000 if you canceled, and you canceled with two years left, but you only paid $100,000.

Chavis agreed to pay $400,000 if he left early, and he (arguably) left like a week early. So he should pay like a hundred bucks.

Meh. I'm glad they pulled the most chicken shite move in the history of college football.

Didn't LSU drop their two out-of-conference rivalry games (A&M and Tulane) after the SEC expanded the schedule to include the newbies, Arky and Carolina? A&M actually got a better deal than Tulane, because LSU actually offered to play A&M one more time.

I don't think you understand what the word "settled" means. Not to mention we tried to give you a rent-a-win with USL. Way to go on that one.

Maybe he should've tried to negotiate a settlement.

Actually its the other way. We need this lawsuit to get nasty so we have a rivalry for rivalry weekend that doesn't require us winning anything.

Well that's the definition of settling. Which means LSU does NOT owe A&M anything.

I cant believe the entire A&M fanbase (i really dont think i'm even exaggerating that much) has tried to perpetrate the lie for this long that LSU owes them money.

That was to be only in the event that a suitable replacement was not found.

LSU believed USL to be a suitable replacement.
USL believed USL to be a suitable replacement.
The judge believed USL to be a suitable replacement.
aggies didn't not LSU believe USL to be a suitable replacement.

...I wonder why.

Wrong. A&M had Chavis sign a contract stating that A&M would pay buyout fees, therefore A&M owes LSU $400k.
