The other part that is comical is trying to sue in Texas State court. Venue is identified on Chavis' contract as it is in all contracts.

Strangely enough(and I'm not sure I believe it)I have read that your statement may be untrue. It's hard to believe that LSU wouldn't have that standard wording in the contract, but then...it is LSU after all.

According to LSU attorneys. I have never seen a contract where venue, law (which state) or type of trial (i.e. jury, arbitration, or judge only) was not addressed. This is boiler plate. I am not an attorney, but I do negotiate a lot of contracts.

why doesn't LSU just pay Chavis and and call it even with A&M once and for all?

Because it's more fun getting money from aggies when they think you still owe them money?

Meh. I'm glad they pulled the most chicken shite move in the history of college football. It reveals their true character. That's worth whatever they owe us, IMO.

Based on the last 4 meetings...we did you bitches a favor.

I would say schedule ULL again but, yeah......

LSU was mired in the mediocrity that suits their program and their coach believed he couldn't build a successful program starting 0-1 every year something he knew would continue to happen as long as A&M was on the schedule.

Actually LSU upgraded their schedule by dumping A&M and adding Arkansas.

Just because Chavis filed suit in Texas doesn't mean his suit will be heard in Texas. Try not to outsmart yourself.

"I said, 'Get out of another (game)' because this game means too much for us,'" Crow said. "We would sell the stadium out for LSU. Them and Texas were only ones we did that."

Seems aTm has always depended on LSU for their existence, we mean too much to them. They NEEDED them to fill their stadium. They NEEDED their DC. Now they NEED them to drop a lawsuit so they won't have to pay their new DC. Poor poor lil' bro, must suck to have to depend on 2 big bro's for everything you have.

LSU eventually refused to play the final two games

No, LSU provided a suitable replacement team for those two years - as per the terms of the contract. Aggies just got mad because they lost one of them:

Why would A&M be playing a game in Lafayette anyway? Is it just coincidence that the game was played the same year A&M was to be playing in BR?
