I think A&M being on the bubble is a little ridiculous for Palm's. A Power 5 team that is ranked 36 in the RPI isn't really on the bubble IMO.

I think A&M deserves better than a play-in game. They swept LSU after all. Still, pretty impressive if we get 6 teams in.

4 seed would be really nice. That likely gives us a low level automatic qualifier instead of a better at large.

A&M is like Florida State in football last year. It's cute to act like we are on the bubble of the playoffs, but they aren't leaving us out, so I'm not worried. I actually would love to be in the play-in game. That gives us two winnable tournament games to start, and then a game against a 3/4 seed, which isn't horrible.

I agree that aTm deserves better than a play-in, but they really aren't helping themselves with quality wins. I just looked at their schedule and man...aside from LSU who is their best win? Florida? Tennessee?

Yep. Everyone keeps saying that a 5 is the same as a 4 and it absolutely is not. A 5 gets bigger school bubble teams
