All around? I wouldn't disagree offensively, but WCS can guard all 5 positions. It's really incredible. Is he the next Dennis Rodman, minus the craziness?

WCS really does have his head on right. He's a super nice guy who enjoys his role as leader of this year's Cats. I credit him with keeping them stable despite all the pressure they're experiencing.

This thread might be the most cringe inducing thread I've read on the rant.

Also CS is legit. No doubt he'll be great, and his toughness/dirty style reminds me of Rodman as well.

Hog fans should be thankful that Cal called off the Cats when they went up by 31. Otherwise it could have easily been over a 40 point difference.

If it had been a fight, someone would have stopped it.

Let's face it, Arkansas is no Kentucky........but who is?

They play 3 games in 3 days in SECT

The NCAA you get 48 hrs between RDS and 4 days between Pods, Regionals, and FF

But you knew that.
I get that...but I don't see how that gives any team a possible advantage over UK. UK is by far and away the deepest team in the league and that factors in more to a short rest situation if they are truly focused on going undefeated and want the conference tourney as pride. Only way that favors another SEC team is if Cal figures the SECT is pointless and doesn't push his players when other teams are desperate for wins to secure a spot in the tourney

Just move to the Big 10 where your programs are a better fit.

I don't want Kentucky to leave, but the B10 or ACC would be such a better fit for them. UK in the SEC would be like Alabama in the ACC. Plus their football program could actually build something in the B10 or ACC. The SEC provides UK an absolutely awful conference schedule.

Portis is an offensive weapon, but WCS can dominate a game whereas Portis won't (and WCS doesn't play that many minutes). I wouldn't doubt that WCS is the best defensive center ANYWHERE since Bill Russell....he's that good!!

I want to see a UK Wisconsin game in regional Final (I think Kaminski can give the Cats trouble)

He's unique. Very skilled big who can be effective even if he is being beaten inside. Wisconsin can put good 3pt shooters on the floor at all five positions (including Kaminsky) and that is what would give them a chance.

We beat Wisconsin without WCS (who I think is the ultimate Kamisnky-stopper). I really like that matchup for us, relative to other teams' ability to matchup with Kaminsky.

As LoC said, they did it without WCS last season and the depth in the post is much deeper this time around. It'd be a good game but I feel like UK still has the advantage there.

I think Duke would give them more trouble especially if their offense is firing on all cylinders.

I'm worried about Duke, but they really don't play ANY defense, particularly Okafor. That zone that K implemented is entirely meant to hide Okafor's shittastic defense.
