Flashback to the last good Arkansas team to match up with an SEC power

In 2011, Arkansas had a good football team and was vying for a shot at the SEC title with a matchup against LSU on the Friday after Thanksgiving. They flooded this board boasting about how glorious the upcoming victory would be. It was cute how they had the ability to get caught up in the moment and forget that they're Arkansas. Then 41-17, and they realized "frick, we're still Arkansas."
Fast forward to 2015, and switch to basketball. A matchup with UK looms, and they seem to have forgotten again. They will be beaten down in a bad way, and be reminded of who they are. It's a vicious cycle, senseless hope followed by unaldulterated reality. Unless you are a track fan, in which they actually accomplish things in that sport.

I'll take this over another Chavis thread. 6/10, not bad.
But I hope you realize that the exact same thing happened to LSU but way worse in both of those sports.

Being we are flashing back, let's flash back to when LSU won the Natty in '07. The same season that McFadden, Hillis, and Jones ran ruts in Tiger stadium one November day. Yea the Hogs ran wild and kicked your national title teams arse in their own house in front of 93,000 sad tiger fans. You know being we are flashing back.

Thank God we've stepped up and give y'all something to post about that isn't Chavis related. We were starting to feel left out that the Aggies were the only ones getting to spend some quality time poking LSU with sticks. Please do carry on.

Why go so far back? I may be mistaken but I believe the hogs played your beloved tigers just a few short months ago. You even had a real defensive coordinator and weren't being sued at the time.
