If they somehow made it into Egypt. They have already blown up many things that don't "glorify allah and his messenger" in Iraq and Syria. I think they would because they are representations of pagan religions and their savage ways, with their mummification and gold and afterlives.

Probably. They're just dicks like that.

No, but they may deface the Sphinx which was done at least once back in the middle ages.

Well it would save us all the trouble if they did and the aliens took care of business for us.

Not the pyramids but possibly Luxor and other temples and monuments.

Thank you. Someone needed to say it.
These southern rednecks are too ignornt to realize that deep within the psyche of every man resides the desire to coexist peacefully with the collective. That we are loving, sharing, tolerant beings by nature. That any deviation from this comes from bad edumacatin', usually spearheaded by fat, rich, bald, white men who want to stay fat and rich. (Mostly fat). That Nietzsche's "Life is the will to power" was just sloppy philosophizin'. That the truth is if I dedicate my focus on love, peace, and harmony, then everyone else will, also. And probably even during this lifetime!
What I'm trying to say is that all the smart people who feed us the news (except Fox, of course, which is slanted-- and so Thank God for the other networks, most of which are owned by purely objective well-intented American Jews)... that all the smart yankees who feed us the news have been trying to tell us for years now that you can't assume a Muslim is violent. Or bad. Or mean. Or hates white people. And even if their 'bible' tells them to hate white people and to kill non-believers then you should assume that the vast majority of them will choose to ignore these particular verses. And even if they do tend to hate white people then you should hate yourself for being white, anyway. And so... What was I saying?...
Oh, yeah. You have to love Muslims and allow them to continue to be Muslims for as long as it takes for them to do whatever they're going to do, because to feel otherwise is RACIST and/or STEREOTYPING and it is better to be dead than an offensive a-hole.
Yeah, that's pretty much it.

The NWO has done it's job with this one.

I don't know if they would but the Taliban was into destroying art and ancient sculptures and such because of something in the Koran that they interpreted to mean that only Allah can make a likeness of a person,or some such crap.

Yeah I remember their blowing up some really majestic ancient Buddhist sculptures some years back. I think this is what the OP was getting at.

ISIL has already blown up many ancient wonders. They are more hardcore than the taliban in that.

This is hands down my favorite thread title of the last week or so.

The answer is no. ISIS would need the support of the Muslim Brotherhood to achieve this. Blowing up the pyramids, or even mentioning this, would have them in a war against the Muslim Brotherhood, the Egyptian Military and the remnants of Mubarak's dictatorial regime. The one common ground between the Brotherhood and the Pan-Arab Nationalists is their admiration for pre-Islamic Egyptian civilization. The Muslim Brotherhood views Sharia as the perfection of ancient Egyptian civilization and the Pan-Arab Nationalists see a unified Arab Republic as a continuation of ancient Egypt's glory, where Western imperialists no longer control its territory and resources. ISIS would be fools to underestimate the reverence that Egyptians, even fundamentalist Salafists, have for their history.

Parts of Christianity are based on pagan religions.
