To piggyback the question in the thread title, when is the last time a team lost 3 straight SEC Championship games?

Alabama, but it wasn't 3 straight years (93, 94, 96).

No, not really. There can be a "tie" based on numerical records, but SOMEBODY has to "win" the division. And that team plays in the SECCG. That's what the OP was asking, not how many different asterisks can we fit into the equation.

Yes, yes really. You can take it up with the SEC.

Florida and Alabama are the only two schools to play in the SEC title game three, or more, years in a row.

Alabama 1992-1994
Florida 1992-1996

Have we figured out whether the NCAA existed in 1935 yet?

So a team can WIN their division yet not represent it in the title game?

Guess y'all can't claim 1966 as an SEC title anymore since Alabama played in the Sugar Bowl.

Why are you asking me? It's not my conference.

Y'all hang an "NCAA title" banner for basketball. Even though there was no NCAA tourney until 1939.

I love it when LSU fans try to justify that 1935 claim.

don't be a moron. I shouldn't have to explain to you why things were different pre-1992, but I guess I will if necessary.

And OP said "football division", meaning he was only asking about 1992-present.

So I guess y'all will be getting rid of those 92 and 07 East trophies then (the former of which was famously displayed in Goff's office)?

I don't think division rings should be made to begin with.

I don't recall the school ever claiming that we "won" the division those years. I've already acknowledged that teams can "share" the division, but through some way or another some team has to WIN it, and that team plays in Atlanta.

We didn't play for the SECCG in 92 or 07, so we're not claiming that we won the division those years.

Then why did the SEC send Alabama a West champs trophy in 13? Why'd they send us an East one in 12? Why'd they send y'all one in 07?

quote:

If they claim a tie for a Division title, then LSU by the same criteria won 5 SEC West Division titles within 7 years:
2001, 2003, 2005, 2006(tie), 2007. And 3 in a row from 2005-2007.

Not in 06. Arkansas was 7-1, y'all were 6-2.

Sorry, meant '02.....

because those teams split the division I would imagine. To use your line, "I'm not the SEC" so I don't know. What I do know is that auburn, uga, and tennessee respectively actually played in atlanta the years you mentioned, so those teams are the actual division winners. I'm not sure why you have to make this so fricking difficult, you know good and well what the OP was asking and could've answered in your first post, but chose to be an annoying anthony instead.
