Trying to wrap your mind around what something like this must feel like to experience as a parent is more than I'm capable of.

Thoughts and prayers are with the Maisel family.

Can not imagine the emotion running through the head of the family. Idk what I'd do if I lost my son. I hope he gets found and is safe and unharmed.

Awful. The cousin of a friend of mine I haven't talked to in years. Prayers sent.

I can't wrap my mind around that.

Just can't imagine how I'd feel if my boy went missing. And I don't want to.

Boy ... that does not look good.

Caller reports man walking on the pier at night. Police show-up and no one is found anywhere.

That river is rugged and partially frozen and flows fast. What would the kid be out there doing in the middle of the night ... "looking for some quiet time."

There there is the symbolism of it being the family summer place.

He leaves his camera and cell-phone at his apartment ... which they claim is not unusual? But drives out there in -10 degree weather in the middle of the night - parks his car and disappears?

Goodness.

I agree, this doesn't sound good.

Ivan said the kid was quiet with a dry sense of humor, and the mom said "the water calmed him"......-10 degree weather in the middle of the night would be calming I suppose?
