Holy smokes. Don't the bats say something about using them below a certain temp?

Will they get them in?

No.

I'm hoping coach has backup plans in place to pick up some games down south. I don't care if they're NAIA teams. Just get some innings in this weekend somewhere not called COMO.

Did you have some games in Jax cancelled already because of the penguin invasion at your airports?

Nope. Opened in Cary NC and then Corpus Christi.

Though we do have a thing about planes leaving the COMO airport having to make emergency landings.

When does winter end up there? It's flip flop time here again.

You're never safe in March. I'd say usually about half the days in March you could play, but they're usually the days you don't have games on the schedule. Once you hit April, it's just rain you have to worry about.

Man, I sometimes take the lack of a winter for granted. I was a bit miffed that it was in the 50s here today.

And I was out in shorts shooting hoops and throwing a ball with the kid, happy as hell that it was mid 30's.

We have not played a home game yet either and likely won't this weekend.

I honestly don't even know why we try. Softball did Florida, California and back to Florida this weekend. Baseball should do the same instead of trying to sneak in a home OOC series. They won't have more than 12 people at a game even if it got to 40 and they played. So why not do one more weekend down south? Don't tell me costs. Softball does it. Plus. We're SEC. We're rolling in $$$$.
