He scored 29 points on UK's defense. I don't think bitching at him about defense is warranted given what he's surrounded by at this point and what he was facing.

He's a volume shooter who averages one assist per game, and he had zero tonight. He happen to hit a career high in 3-point FG's, but everyone does that in Rupp. He has 90 more turnovers than he does assists in his career. He scored 29; how many did he give up? 15 points, 5 assists, and 1 turnover + great defense >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 29 points, no assists, 2 turnovers, and little defense. He got some steals, but steals doesn't determine a great defender (he averages 1 per game).

His career is irrelevant to what he's done at Auburn.
He's the only guy we have that can create his own shot, so he plays the role that he has to play. His assist to turnover ratio this year is 1.1/1.9, not great, but not the exaggerated number that you posted. KT's is 1.3/2.3 for reference.
His defense isn't great either, but we don't have any great defenders and no one was arguing that anyway. Auburn fans are hard on the guy for playing a role that he's told to play.
