QB? CB? Both?
It's a blessing for him to be such a talented athlete. I wish him nothing the best in the NFL.

Everybody with a brain will tell you the correct answer, which is defensive back.

He is not going to play QB in teh NFL. And by "play", I mean ever be higher than 3rd on a depth chart.

Wasn't he a CB in HS? Thought he committed to UGA.

Probably safety since Oregon is so soft.

Well, he was a pretty well regarded DB in high school, good enough to earn a scholarship to UGA at the position so yeah I'd say he's got potential.

Was a HS QB. He has a ghsa record with 103 TD passes.

You think we put him randomly at DB without ever having played the position before?

Btw he was recruited out of HS as an Athlete. IIRC one of the few teams that recruited him at QB was tech. Here's his rivals profile LINK

and an interview with him after getting to campus

quote:

Talk about where you think you can see the field first, in your opinion.

"I think I can see the field first at cornerback because of my size, speed and the ability that I got."

What are you most looking forward to in coming to Georgia?

"Just being successful and graduating and getting my degree."

0/3 on that last question

Hutson Mason threw for a state record 54 in his senior year. In only 2 years starting he threw for 85.

I wouldn't say he'll be a good NFL QB though.

Didn't say he was. Only telling you he was a HS QB. 2013 wasn't the first time he's thrown a ball. He may have played both ways like many HS players do, but he was primarily a QB.

quote:

2010 Georgia Sports Writers Association Class A Offensive Player of the Year for Coach Mark Ledford at Wilcox County ... Atlanta Journal-Constitution "Super 11" selection, Class A Offensive Player of the Year ... two-time Macon Telegraph Middle Georgia Offensive Player of the Year... led Wilcox County to the Class A title as a junior ... set GHSA career record with 103 TD passes.

I think he will be drafted as a CB and emergency QB.

I don't see him making it in the league at all.

His public speaking and your typing are on par with each other.
