All visiting fans will be thoroughly searched at the gate for firearms when we play at Berkeley

This will be one of the best road trips ever. Take BART over to the game and back to San Francisco to eat in Chinatown for dinner.

Seriously? I'm not that big a fan of the Bay Area, especially Berkeley.

I wonder if their fans will be as shocked to hear the n word as the Fresno State fans were when they came to The Grove a few years ago

The only thing that pisses me off about playing FSU in Orlando is that it's considered a home game

The frick? That's awful.

And on to Cal, I think it'll be a fun game. Should be interesting to see where their team is in 2 years compared to ours.

I like it too. I think playing the mid level power 5 is smarter than playing the likes of tOSU, Texas, OU, USC, Clemson, and FSU. I don't necerssarily like the 2016 game with the Noles. It's our first game without the '13 class 1st rounders. We play in the best division in football where all 6 other teams are strong. IMO, there's no sense in adding what essentially is another SECw game. Keep the easy W's comin with the likes of Cal, Wake Forest, Illinois, etc. and have our starters sitting for most of the game

I think you need one tough OOC game. The SEC west won't always be up, the east at one point was the major side with UF, USCe, and UGA, and even UT a little while back.

I always take the fam on two major trips(one being a football trip) a year (where it would take some planning) and going to Cal, Orlando and some of those places will be fun. I don't wanna go visit Iowa lol

I have to agree if you have spent any significant time in San Francisco it gets old quickly if you've already seen the sights. I personally Would much rather head down Pacific Coast Hwy to Monterey/Carmel (man I spent some good nights there at the Naval Postgraduate School) or head North to Napa.

Edit: if y'all do get down to Monterey go to the Monterey Fish House. It is out of the way and basically is a local haunt but is well worth it. Now you may end up sitting "family style" but the food is always fresh/awesome and you get to meet some really cool people.

Here's some thoughts from a cal board

LINK

Interesting that our better reputations such as the grove and hot women reach all the way out to Berkeley. I thought State fans said outside of the south no one knew who we were or could distinguish our schools? If anything, State piggybacks all of their perceptions from across the country off of being confused with us, both good and bad.
