@_DCReeves: #Alabama’s Amari Cooper runs a 4.43 in his first attempts.

@AaronSuttles: Amari Cooper runs an unofficial 4.42 for his second 40 attempt.

@ChaseGoodbread: Cooper didn't need to run a crazy time. Just needed to run a good one. You can scratch him for the pro day 40. Won't need it. #NFLCombine

@BuckyBrooks: Amari Cooper continues to check off all of the boxes as a WR1. The speed was never a concern, but 4.42 is plenty fast enough for a WR1

@CoachBillick: Amari Cooper is like a cool breeze out there...everything he does is so smooth and natural.

I'm pretty sure Blake had the fastest 10 yard of any QB, really quick off the line. Faster 40 than Nick Marshall too, which is very surprising to me.

Deandrew White ran unofficial 4.44 and 4.46. Should help his stock nicely.

@ByCasagrande: Alabama's Jalston Fowler unofficially ran his first 40 in 4.94.

@_DCReeves: T.J. Yeldon improves on his 4.65 1st attempt with a 4.61 in the second attempt.

@ChaseGoodbread: Ouch. RT @NFL_CFB: Dee Hart not going to help himself with 40 times -- 4.80u, 4.85u

Reading Sims' draft analysis makes me think he'll get drafted:

quote:

STRENGTHS Able to take snaps in pro-style passing attack. Showed adequate timing and anticipation for throwing windows. Extremely quick feet. Able to escape trouble and convert third downs with his feet. Showed discipline to stay in pocket and trust protection. Hard to sack. Nifty side-stepper who can elude, regroup and make the throw. Has enough zip on passes to make NFL throws. Can process quickly and adjust his game plan when on the move.
WEAKNESSES Short. Benefited a great deal from play-action game. Finding passing lanes could become a struggle. Needs to improve holding safeties for a little longer with his eyes. Will wind up when driving the ball. Locks in on targets, bringing heat on receivers. Accuracy comes and goes. Will decide early on a target and throw into coverage rather than finding the open man. Waits a shade too long at times trying to get the cleanest throw possible.
BOTTOM LINE An undersized, move quarterback who can make plays outside of the pocket. Has enough arm to threaten defenses over the top. Though up and down at times, Sims has demonstrated enough potential to warrant a look as an NFL backup in a draft class sorely lacking in quarterback prospects.

Did anyone see the video of the mash up of the top three WRs in the draft?

LINK

Cooper appears to beat White to the line but they have White listed with a faster 40-time.

I was really surprised he didn't get in the 4.3 range. He just seemed like a 4.3 guy and by all accounts that what he ran in college when times.

Alabama's Landon Collins runs 4.54. Good time for him. Should be 1st safety taken. #NFLCombine
