Does anyone else think that this recruitment isn't over? The brother was never getting a staff position at LSU. If he gets that offer, I wouldn't be surprised to see lil bro follow. OM may be desperate enough to give one up.

Gawd, some of you LSU fans are so butt-hurt about this entire deal. You tried recruiting SP. Hell you even got his brother Sean a staff position. It didn't work and SP decided LSU wasn't the team for him. Enuf said right?

Why is this thread still going? Ole miss hired sean patterson to try to get shea,just like we did but regardless of what shea did we were keeping Frank's commitment. LSU as a whole is satisfied with franks, ole miss is satisfied with shea, neither has played a college down and it's premature to say who the better player will be. Let's wait till they hit the field. Both sides are using Homer glasses and it's making both sides look like asses.

I personally appreciate the solid background from the Lsu fans here on this topic - we each got our guys and each are happy - best example is if they had both camped at Ole Miss (Rebels for bears fan) our staff likely would have liked Shea! I have no clue why LSU would be butthurt. If he was our only target, then he'll yes we would be panicking. We aren't. We are only aware when instate talent leaves.
No one cared about the guy when he was committed to Arizona. He plays for a LA school, but isn't a LA kid by any stretch.
We had him and Franks on our campus for a week, evaluating them side by side. We offered Franks right away.
We got our guy, period. But if another high ranking qb shows up interested and wants to dance, of course we did the dance. Who wouldn't? Having Patterson committed to OM, you don't think they would take another 5 star if he showed up and wanted in? Of course they would listen!
Let's be clear, LSU offered and got a commitment from our choice. Patterson was ALWAYS our coaches' second choice.

Thanks for the link--though this was one of the worst kept "secrets" ever, especially after Shea Patterson's commitment to Ole Miss last week.
