Do I have a good bet?

Texas A&M 2015 Schedule
Sept.5 – vs. Arizona State
Sept. 12 – Ball State
Sept. 19 – Nevada
Sept. 26 – vs Arkansas
Oct. 3 – Mississippi State
Oct. 10 – Bye
Oct. 17 – Alabama
Oct. 24 – at Ole Miss
Oct. 31 – South Carolina
Nov. 7 – Auburn
Nov. 14 – Western Carolina
Nov. 21 – at Vanderbilt
Nov. 27 – at LSU

Regular season only.
I fell pretty confident they can beat Ball St, Nevada, S Carolina, W Carolina and Vandy. So they would just need to go 4-3 vs the SEC West and ASU.

Sounds about right

Schedule is a joke with only 3 road games.

Can't remember the last time A&M played a non conference road game against a P5 opponent.

Anywhere from 7-9 wins seems very plausible (as it will for most sec west teams) freaking gauntlet man

Yeah could go either way. Depends on an improved defense imo.

Two of those teams you are calling losses were Aggie wins last year. I think they would be toss up games at the very least.

I'd take 9-3, because that means our defense likely make significant strides.

9 wins means beating at least 3 preseason top 15-20 teams. Hardly a given.

Right. But we are now in year 4 with sumlin and we now had a third year of top 10 classes and he just made new assistant hires. If it doesn't happen this year, I'm not sure it will

That's a good point. 2015 will be a good litmus test for Sumlin. Majority his players with his staff tweaks. It's unfortunate for him the West is absolutely loaded this year. I have idea how the division will shake out. It's awesome.

Seems like it would take a cycle for all the coaching changes to take effect. Chavis has had so-so first years traditionally.

I could accept seven wins if I saw an improved defense. I think in 2016 its ten wins or bust no matter what.

aggies win over auburn last year was such a fluke. two fumbles by auburn without being touched and a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown

Nobody can ever beat Auburn without it being a fluke in your eyes.

How is that a fluke?
